Under the attendance of His Highness Dr. Bandar Alkanawi CEO of National Guard Health Affairs, the 3rd Stem Cells Conference has started. Dr. Alkanawi ensures that research efforts over stem cells role in the medical field, even though some of the work is in its early stages. Dr. Ahmad Alaskar chief director of KAIMRC & Chairman of the Saudi Stem Cells Association has informed that Saudi Arabia is successfully performing stem cells transplantation for treating specific groups of blood cancer diseases such as Leukemia, Immune-genetic diseases and Bone Marrow Failure.
